James Clarkson
Director of Youth Development
James Clarkson is Director of Youth Development for the Houston Dynamo and Head Coach of the Dynamo Academy Team. There's a lot of pressure to make the Dynamo Academy a success and to help Academy players learn how to be successful on and off the field. Will James be able to put the right team together? Make the tough choices? Juggle youth with expectation? Will he be able to produce home grown players for the Houston Dynamo first team?
Will he and his team be able to compete, and win?
Clarkson has high standards. Will he find a team that does, too?

Rafael Brazo - 'Rafa'
U-15 Head Coach
Rafa, as he is known to his players and fellow coaches, has a tough job - be James' eyes and ears with some of the younger hopefuls. If Rafa makes the wrong choices, some of the best local talent will slip out of the Dynamo organization. He's one of James' most trusted advisors, and is an integral part of the success of the Dynamo Academy.
In addition to his work with the Dynamo, Rafa uses his master's degree in English linguistics and dedicates his days to helping kids as a teacher at Seven Lakes High School in Katy.
