The trailer for SWD Productions' new TV show - SHOOTING STARS - was screened at the annual Dynamo Charities Dynamo Awards on Monday, November 9th at the House of Blues in front of the Houston Dynamo team, its sponsors and fans.   The event honored the best players, fans and moments of 2009 and benefited the Houston Parks and Recreation Department.  

The evening was an incredible success, and SWD was proud to be a part of the affair.   SWD President Greg Ferris said, "It was an unbelievable night.   SWD is thrilled to be associated with the Houston Dynamo, a winning organization both on and off the field."   He went on to add, "We were honored to have our trailer for SHOOTING STARS included in the program, and we were so pleased at the reception it received, and the growing excitement for the launch of the TV show itself."

SWD Productions, LLC is pleased to announce that the 2 minute version of the trailer for the new TV show SHOOTING STARS will be screened at halftime of the PLAYOFF GAME this SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH, AT 2 PM between the Houston Dynamo and the Seattle Sounders.  The full 4 minute version of the trailer will be shown during the annual Dynamo Awards Ceremony at the House of Blues on Monday evening, November 9th.

 
SHOOTING STARS is an episodic documentary/reality show that tells a universal human-interest story about young soccer players pursuing their dreams of one day becoming professionals.  Thousands of kids and young men from across Texas and the world dream of playing professionally for the Houston Dynamo. The quest to achieve that dream is seen through the eyes of nearly 300 hopefuls as they gathered for a grueling ‘Elite Camp’ to try to make the team that could change their lives.

This is a story about passion and hope, courage and fear, heartbreak and success.  From the opening kick through the final whistle and beyond, SWD Productions captured these stories.
